The site was a grass field on a hill side that was never used so the client had plans drawn and had planning permission approved. The client had initially wanted 4 semi-detached houses and work started to get the groundworks and retaining wall to site done.
But then covid hit and the client’s hospitality business had to close, so work stopped. The clients’ circumstances and needs changed and so they changed the remit. Perfect for groups or families to come together for celebrations. All these new rooms had to be unique and have a spacious luxurious feel. The client, architect and I had many meetings and discussed how we could best change the layout for the new project.
