Brief: New owners in need of a more spacious house. Full basement implementation, rear extension, small internal courtyard, cinema room, bar area, gym, utility room.
Solutions: We dug out the basement, which extended the full width and length of the property. Added in an internal lightwell and several rooms to the basement including a cinema and gym. We also built a rear extension with sliding glass doors and floor to ceiling windows; a polished concrete floor was added and a new master bedroom with dressing room and en-suite. All remaining bedrooms were also refurbished.
Results: A stunning and spacious property, boosting private cinema and gym in the basement with an internal lightwell to flood the new rooms with light. All finished to a high spec.

Brief: Our client, wanted to increase the living space in their home with a complete basement dig out for a swimming pool, cinema, utility room and boiler room with side and rear extensions for a dramatic kitchen and dining area, including glass roofs.
Solutions: This was a complex project as the house was on two levels, the rear being 1.5metres lower than the front. The basement, therefore, had to be created on three different levels. Two levels followed the shape of the house with the third level being dug out for the swimming pool, at a depth of 5metres.
Our clients mentioned the lack of hot water as a constant problem. We, therefore, installed a 500-litre mega flow system which, due to its size, had to be installed in the boiler room before the basement was closed.
Results: Happy clients, with their dream home, encompassing a cinema room and a swimming pool in the heart of London. The result matched their vision of a home that was stylish, light, modern and spacious; built to a very high spec.

Brief: To fully refurbish the property, create a winter garden, basement cinema and wine cellar.
Solutions: We strengthened the house by inserting an internal steel frame, keeping a brick shell exterior. We then dug out the basement to create two new rooms and added a new roof structure which allowed us to include a winter garden.
Results: A splendid corner house in the heart of Chelsea, completely refurbished, with the added value of a basement cinema and wine cellar. A clever roof feature to include a winter garden.
