The client has appointed the Contractor to refurbish the ground floor kitchen and first floor family bathroom, decorating the property throughout, making good for the purpose of selling the cottage. Contractor advises, no structural alterations have been carried out to the property. Damp-proofing, remedial repairs to the ground floor lounge walls have been completed, where a substantial amount of rising damp had occurred.
The staircase treads and risers, to both staircases, have been braced and covered by a false backing.
The removal of damaged/affected old plaster and re-plastering with replacement of skirtings and sockets, have also been completed.
