Tiplady Gray limited

This job was to replace two downstairs three-pane bay windows, and two upstairs dormer windows. Nigel Gray and his team arrived promptly on the agreed date. The work was completed without any fuss or disruption within a day and a half. Some unforeseen issues relating to the the original construction of the dormer roof were dealt with effectively. All the old window frames and glazing were entirely removed from the premises. We are very pleased with the finished project, which has given us better-looking and draught-free widows in all three rooms.

Danial and his team did a great job of the work required. Top of gable wall replaced with new wall ties. Some roof tiles replaced as well. New pebble dash put on and painted. Team was friendly and professional. The price I was quoted didn’t change with no added extras. In fact they didn’t charge me for replacing some roof tiles that had come off.

The job was to build a new complete replacement of my old leaky, partly rotten garage roof and installation of a new automatic roller garage door. A new much stronger roof support beams structure was installed expertly by Nigel and team. Then the roofers installed the new grp (glass re-inforced plastic) roof covering. Finally a new Garolla roller garage door was installed to complete the job. I am very pleased with the results and now have a fully waterproof garage and electric roller garage door as well. I have also been impressed with Danial's project co-ordination, ensuring the work flowed smoothly and my queries always received a rapid response.

Tiplady Gray did an amazing transformation to the back of our house after we had fire damage. New bifold doors were fitted which are awesome they transform the house and garden. They repaired all the fire damage and fitted new cladding plus fitted a new window to the upstairs bedroom. Cannot praise them enough all the work was carried out quickly and efficiently .

We had a Warm Roof and Replacement Conservatory installed to replace an old worn out conservatory that was constructed many years ago. The conservatory has now been transformed and it can now be used all the year round thanks to the modern insulation materials used. We are extremely pleased with the work, that was completed by an excellent team headed by Nigel and Dan. All the work was completed to a very high standard in the timescale and agreed cost. It's not every day you give 5 stars to a company that hasn't actually done any work but I am very happy to do so. We thought we needed some remedial work to a job done by another builder. Dan spent some time checking the build and advised us to do nothing (and the reasons why). Of course, he could have set about telling us the opposite and charged accordingly but it's a testament to his professionalism that he did not. He put our minds and rest and saved us thousands of pounds in the process. I would highly recommend Dan and the company.

I wanted a home bar built at my house and got Tiplady Gray Limited to do the work I required, I’m so glad I did. Nigel and Dan designed the whole bar for me and had some fantastic ideas of what to do. It has totally transformed our home and we don’t need to go out, as we love staying in now. The sound system the lighting everything is perfectly done, thanks for making this happen for us. What a great company, it looks amazing. Having had a terrible experience during a previous building project, having to go to court to claim money back for shoddy workmanship from a building company, I was extremely nervous about choosing anyone for further work I wanted doing. Tiplady Gray Ltd took on the build of our single storey extension at a very challenging time for us as we were expecting our second child and had given quite tight deadlines to ensure the work was complete in time for the new arrival. All there contractors were fantastic and mindful of the fact we were still living in the house with our young daughter. They did everything possible to unsure we had kitchen facilities during the build for as long as possible and when they encountered unexpected problems with the house they were able to resolve these with minimal delays to the project. Tiplady Gray finished the project on time and let us settle in with our new born son before returning to complete some additional works that we had asked for.
