We had Vines Construction completely refurbish our living room last year, which included knocking down an old chimney. They created a stunning media wall, modernised with LED lights and a huge fireplace – the result was absolutely amazing! The work was carried out to an extremely high professional standard, and the team made sure everything was spotless before leaving. Since then, we’ve had them back for some additional decorating work, and yet again, their service was faultless. No job was too small for them, and they approached everything with the same level of care and professionalism. A special shoutout to Luke the decorator, whose attention to detail was impeccable, and Matt the director, who ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Matt was recommended to us by several people in our local area and it's easy to see why. We renovated our ground floor, with a new flooring throughout and a new kitchen. Matt and his team were superb from start to finish. Firstly, his estimate was accurate, detailed and delivered in a quick turnaround. His communication was very good throughout the process and once the works began he and his team did a great job. He would come to us with solutions to issues, kept us informed of progress on a daily basis and, most importantly, the work was of a great standard. His team were pleasant, polite and tidy. They never left any mess and were respectful of our property. These things may seem like the basics, but it's not often the case with contractors and when it's done right it makes a big impact. I would highly recommend Matt and his team. We have since moved out of the area and have used different contractors local to us on other projects, but we haven't worked with anyone as good as Matt.

You couldn't ask for a better team than Vines. Matt supported right from the beginning when we first applied for planning permission. Brought in his own engineer when the plans we had ran into trouble and sorted the problem, and again when we had drain issues Matt spoke with building control and local water to solve the problem. We were always kept up to date every step of the build. His team were all so friendly we actually missed having them round when the build finished. They were all extremely professional and hard working, even in unexpected snow! The site was always left tidy at the end of the day. The quality of the work is brilliant, we love the new space they help us create. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matt and his team.

We would like to thank Matt and his team for our excellent single storey extension and the remodelling of our ground floor layout. Matt understood our detailed requirements and produced a result that fulfilled all our requirements to produce a high level of quality and finish to our house that we are delighted with. We are now 4 and half years on and the work that Matt and his team carried out for us, is as good today as it was when the work was complete. Our larger kitchen has been made a huge difference, as our previous kitchen was quite small. We also had the rear of the house, and the extension opened into 1 large lounge / diner, including by-fold doors across the back of the extension. This has been exceptionally enjoyable to be able to open the back of the house during the summer months. Based on the work that Matt and his team have done for us, we would highly recommend Vine Construction Ltd.

We used Vines for our kitchen renovation which included removing a load bearing wall to open up the space. Matt kept in constant contact before and throughout the process and answered any of our questions. Matt and Dean completed the work to an extremely high standard, we were impressed with how clean the space was left at the end of each day. They helped organise everything from plumbing, flooring and electrician. We couldn’t be more pleased with our new kitchen!

Matt and his team completed a large rear extension project to our 1930's semi at the same time as converting a garden building to an office/studio space. We have now used Vine construction for 4 projects. Firstly in 2020 (from a recommendation) to convert a garage to a dining room. Then again in 2022 to put in a fitted kitchen, and most recently in 2024 we had a new family bathroom fitted & an en suite. We would highly recommend Vines Construction Ltd to anyone who wants an honest, talented, dedicated builder who you know will deliver to the timeline and quote they have given with a quality finish. Our project was primarily a rear single storey kitchen/diner extension and other renovation work to our tired 1930's three bed semi - the Vines team always arrived promptly, were polite, courteous, professional and very hard working with a very strong housekeeping ethic. Despite the extensive works being done, our home and garden were respected throughout the build. Communication on planning and progress was exceptional and issues, as there are always some with any building project, are handled in an open, constructive manner with a solution at the ready. There is a reason why Vines consistently get 5star reviews - as the saying goes good things come to those who wait and Vines are well worth waiting for !!

If you’re looking for a fuss-free, clean and tidy build project, that completes on time, runs like clockwork and is perfect post build then choose Vines Construction. Pro-active, respectful and rightly proud of their work, Vines set the benchmark high and it was a joy to have Matt and his team working in our family home for 8 weeks.  No matter how big,small, or silly our novice questions or ideas were, Matt was always there to offer a range of immediate solutions and/or liaise with professionals on our behalf. Our home is in the Heritage Character area of Letchworth GC and subject to specific Design Principles as well as an extra layer of approval; a new challenge for Matt but not one that fazed him in the slightest,nor held up the demolition and re-build and we are so grateful for the positive rapport that was quickly established.  Every person knew the standard that Matt commands and they worked diligently,parked considerately and left the site in a safe & tidy state every night.

Matts limitless enthusiasm and positivity are simply the signs of a guy who’s extremely good at what he does and loves every minute of it. We found Matt and his team to be very professional, good humoured, highly skilled and working at the speed of light. Every week brought us a brand new massive development in the project. Sometimes these milestones were reached daily. Everything seemed to move so quickly and efficiently. Our job was a single story extension with a knock through in order to totally open up the ground floor and flood the area with space and light. This involved new foundations, some serious steelwork, a brand new kitchen, new flooring, Velux roof windows, bi-folding doors and full decoration. And it looks absolutely stunning. Each morning when we come downstairs, it feels like we’re walking into the home we’ve always wanted. We love it and our two wee girls love it. We definitely feel like we landed on our feet with Vines Construction and wish them all the very best.
