Walford Construction has successfully completed the Somerford project, an Orangery conversion in Allostock, Knutsford. The works included transforming a double garage into a functional living space with a raised rear patio and adding a side extension to enhance the main house’s living and dining areas. Modern vertical and flush sash windows, along with French doors, introduced a contemporary touch to the traditional design. Collaboration with skilled subcontractors and staff was key to ensuring precision and quality throughout. Client input played a vital role in achieving a result that blends heritage with modern functionality.

Walford Construction transformed Westminster House into 13 luxury residences, blending historic charm with modern living. The process included assessing the century-old structure, preserving period features like high ceilings, coving, and bay windows, and upgrading interiors with contemporary fittings. Walford Construction were appointed as lead contractor for this Student accommodation rear single storey extension. a simple effective use of the rear yard meant we could create a usable double bed with ensuite with space for studying. Pile foundations were used during the process due to poor ground conditions. 

Walford Construction undertook all constructions aspect as lead contractor for this single storey extension. New Aluminium Bi-folds enhanced the new rear patio area and Kitchen Diner alike. Our specialist joiner brought fresh character to the property with new panelling to the hall stairs and landing. The build was finished with a fresh coat of paint everywhere by our team of painters and decorators.
