Enva is one of Scotland’s largest skip hire and construction waste recycling companies providing services to builders of all sizes across the Central Belt, the UK and Ireland, with a network of 38 facilities.

A large and diverse collection fleet including skip, roll-on-off, grab hire and HGV tipper vehicles allows us to consistently provide a cost effective and sustainable solution for all our customers’ waste. Our next day service promise also ensures that our customers will always have adequate capacity on site, and waste will never be the cause of a delay.

All the waste collected is taken to one of Enva’s specialist and fully licensed facilities such as our flagship materials recycling facility in Linwood. This site alone is capable of processing 500,000 tonnes of waste a year and recycles a wide range of materials such as aggregates, soils, wood, metals and plastics. Any waste that cannot be recycled is used as a Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) in the production of sustainable energy. This enables us to divert 100% of the material we manage from landfill which is both expensive and environmentally unsustainable.

The material we recover and recycle can also be supplied back to customers providing them with low-cost and high-quality supplies of materials for use on site. These include:

  • 6F2 & 6F5
  • Reclaimed Screen soil
  • MOT type 1 crushed concrete
  • Fill Sand
  • BS Topsoil
  • Recycled pipe bedding
  • Glass aggregate

Other materials such as wood are also recycled into a range of products including animal bedding or biomass. Our collection and recycling services for the construction industry also includes the compliant treatment of contaminated soils, waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and hazardous waste such as asbestos, batteries and oils.

Enva’s award-winning plasterboard recycling facility is one of the largest in the UK utilising efficient and innovative technologies to ensure that 100% of the waste plasterboard we manage is put back into the manufacturing process. In fact, all the materials that derive from breaking down plasterboard can be recovered and reused.

In addition to our in-house service team, we also offer customers access to the MyEnva portal which provides instant 24/7 access to their account details as well as a range of other services including quotations, confirming service movements, viewing invoices and orders, or actioning waste management reports detailing spend, recycling rates and end destinations.
