It was a great pleasure to see the response of Northern Ireland members in wanting to shape the direction of FMB for the future, at the recent AGM on Friday 7 June 2024.
Twelve member companies were nominated and will serve as the Northern Ireland Board for a period of two years.
During the Board meeting that followed, it was decided through a unanimous vote that Steven Nickell, of Nickell and Richmond, should take the role as Regional President for the next two years.
On behalf of the membership, Steven acknowledged the commitment of former regional president, Willie Moffitt, during his role in the last four years, for putting members first and for giving so much of his time and dedication to the FMB. Thanks were also given to Diane, Willie’s wife, for the role she played in giving her time and energies for FMB.
The NI Board were delighted to welcome National President Chris Carr, as a guest, as he provided an overview of his passion for the FMB and his desire to speak on behalf of members at a national level.
The Board in NI is looking forward to contributing to the FMB’s strategic goal of growth in the months and years ahead.
