Spring 2023 has seen quite a few highlights for the FMB, including a member Q&A at ToolFair London, imminent meetings with TFL on ULEZ, the London Master Builder Awards and a new addition to the London Board.
Remember you can shape the future of the FMB by joining many of our groups and committees - take a look here.
Tool Fair Alexandra Palace
In April I hosted a Q&A with London Member Jay Gentle from Prestige Build Management Ltd at the ToolFair in Alexandra Palace. Attendees gathered to listen to Jay discuss some of the key factors implemented by his business that made them the success they are today.
Jay gave some fantastic pointers but his key piece of advice to those starting out was that all businesses need to establish what type of construction they want to work on, from there set yourself a number of key values and stick to them, they will guide you on every decision.

Any questions for TFL on ULEZ?
Leading representatives at TFL will be attending the London Board meeting in late April to present on the recent decision to expand the ULEZ zone. As this affects our members the Board will be asking what support will be available to help SME builders transition to vehicles that are compliant.
If you or your staff have any questions that you would like us to raise, then please let us know by emailing me via [email protected].
