We are pleased to announce a new legal advice referral service for FMB members in Scotland. The service, launched on Monday 17 February, will cover debt recovery and construction law, both of which have unique legal considerations in Scotland compared to the rest of the UK, so it was important that the FMB chose the right partner.

Lindsays LLP has been selected to support FMB members through the provision of the telephone based legal advice service. How it works and who to contact

Scotland-based FMB members can contact Michael Kitson at Lindsays on 0131 229 1212 or via email: [email protected]

Each FMB member in Scotland is entitled to free initial legal advice on the telephone covering construction law and debt recovery. This service includes up to 30 minutes per call for construction law queries and 15 minutes per call for debt recovery queries.

Should FMB members require further support beyond the initial advice, then they will benefit from a 15% discount on Lindsays’ hourly rates. Additionally, Lindsays provides fixed fees for certain services.
